Last week my team members and I responded to some haters online. We know they want us to take our eyes off the ball so that we stay busy feeding these trolls, but sometimes it's good to hit back. This quick post is for the haters.

Dear hater,

I understand that you may think I'm crazy. Yes, you have the right to be sceptical of Angie's huge projects. But there is method behind the "madness". After 17 years. we've started really small, but we're growing fast. More about that later.

What I don't understand is why you have to post vitriolic hatred in your "criticism". Look, Angie is bigger than Neal, it will go on even if I'm run over by a bus. Your personal envy and your silly postings (usually anonymously), aren't going to stop Angie or me. On the other hand, think for a moment whether your spouse and children would be proud of you for being a nasty little troll or conniving little b*tch on public forums. I wonder what kind of role model you are for your children. Are you making your parents proud? I don't have my parents anymore, but I know that I have always made them proud. Your turn now, troll. Envy and bitchery won't help you further in life. I can't help you become a nicer person, you have to do it yourself. I haven't defrauded anyone in my life, ever. I haven't lied to people. I try to do business as honestly and as straight-forward as possible. I don't go over dead bodies in order to get what I want. Most of my business friends from 27 years ago (when I started in business) are still my friends. I may not be your favorite human being, but at least I am a human being, and I live like one. What do you do, troll? You're just a little hating mutant being.

A handful of my haters may genuinely be sceptical, but most are just envious little bitches. Sad but true. Most knowingly spread misinformation in the hope that it will stick with the public and/or chase away my partners. Nice strategy, if it would work. I'll start exposing them on my personal blog when I'll be in the mood. I always can make time for some fun.

Angie's projects are underway - in three countries!

That's a lot for a small company, but it is manageable because they are: "Bite sized" - to make it easier to chew. We grow one square mile by one square mile. "Localized partnerships", we manage the projects with local partners who know the ins and outs. "Outsourced management", we run all projects centrally, focusing on supervision instead of micro-management.

Since last month we launched the largest 500-Megabit ISP in the Netherlands, with access to 2+ million FTTH connections. Our massive marketing campaign is starting next month. We are starting a Smart City project in the city of Hilversum, the Netherlands where we'll sponsor 10 - 15,000 homes (out of the 40,000) with 500 Mbps service in order to create the world's first and only ultra-connected city. But more importantly, if you own Real Estate in Los Angeles, Manhattan, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Amsterdam, Slough or London, we can hook your building up with 10-Gigabit fiber optic (for free!). Yes haters and trolls, even your building can be hooked up. I'm forgiving.

Now go, get a life and make your family proud.

P.S., to my friends and supporters: thank you very much for your continued support. I have a long memory.

Neal Lachman
